Easter 2017
Posted By Athena - Wednesday 12 April 2017 - 19:29:49 printer friendly

Easter Champion Spawn

We have created a custom champion spawn for easter, and can be found in the Monster bash area in our Festival Grounds. This spawn has the following "replica" drops:
  • Special Dragon Easter Egg, Unique
  • The Robe Of Britannia Ari, shared
  • A Necromancer Shroud, shared
  • Lieutenant Of The Britannian Royal Guard, shared
  • The Most Knowledge Person, shared
  • Easter Bunny Statuette, deco

Special Dragon Easter Eggs

These collectible special dragon eggs come in 16 special hues, and when double clicked during the Easter holiday events will total refresh all 3 stats! This will only work if the egg is in your pack, and once every 3 hours.

Dragon Easter Eggs

Dragon easter eggs will be spawning throughout the world. When double clicked, they have a 25% chance of turning into a dragon easter egg that can be taken, otherwise they will spawn Easter Peeps and an Easter Peep Lord. The Easter Peep Lord has a chance of Dropping a pig on a spit house addon deed, an empty barbeque addon deed, decorative vines, and some of the items from the peeps. The small peeps have chances of dropping items as described later in this page from previous Easters. The Peep Lords have a few tricks that are worth mentioning: They have random a template from necro, mage, archer, or berserker mellee. Their elemental damage is randomly chosen when they spawn, their weapon ability is chosen randomly at spawn time from the entire list of special moves, stats are random from 200 to 1000, and their target acquisition AI mode is selected randomly from the three aggressive modes.

Pink Easter Squirrels and Potted Plants

Pink squirrels are randomly spawning throughout the world, they are not aggressive, they are not tamable, they drop nothing when you kill them, but you can get them to give you items. The item will be one of a set of new potted plants as per the OSI Easter content of 2015. These collectible potted plants come in two types and 16 common hues, 2 rare hues.

Decorative Easter Eggs

These collectible eggs come in each Easter Basket that gets filled in Trammel facets (as explained below ) between Easter day through the following week. There are hundreds of hues and 3 different shapes, which comes to practically endless possible unique combinations. These eggs are purely decorative and serve no other purpose.

Easter Baskets

During the Easter event, the Easter baskets will fill themselves with goodies when opened. The first time those baskets are opened during the Easter events, they will be filled with Easter goodies (or baddies). When opened on Trammel maps, they will fill themselves with a mix of the following items:
  • Easter Eggs
  • Chocolate Easter Egg
  • Stuffed Easter Bunny
  • Jelly Beans
  • Candy Coated Chocolate Rabbit
  • Chocolate Llama
  • Easter Carrot
  • Decorative Easter Egg
  • Easter Basket Grass

Opening the basket in Felucca will give a mix of the following items:
  • Spam
  • Skinned Rabbit
  • Rotten Turnips
  • Chocolate Jelly Beans
  • Moon Shine
  • Chocolate Hand
  • Pigs Head
  • Pigs Feet

Town Chest Stealables

We have a holiday stealing system, as part of our holiday publishes. On the Trammel and Felucca facets, chests will be spawning throughout the holiday season. These chests will be in town areas, generally inside of shops, castles, and other structures. They are spawning with a wide range of lock picking difficulty and trap power levels, ranging from very easy to difficult. The difficulty of the container influences the chances of special items spawning in the container, but has no influence on what items spawn. Once the trap on the container has been removed or triggered, the container will disappear in 5 minutes. The containers will also search a small area around themselves for other containers. If found, they will assume the appearance of those neighboring containers, including furniture containers. Once in a while this makes it obvious, but often they disguise themselves very well. Some people have asked for more info about the spawns for these chests, so we decided to make more of it public. First, there are ~200 locations they can spawn. The spawns are in Trammel and Felucca, and pretty much confined to town areas in buildings. The chests will delete themselves 5 minutes after the traps are cleared, and the re-spawn check is in 30 min intervals. The spawner engine checks every 30 minutes for deleted containers to replace, and there will be no more than 15 in Trammel and 20 in Felucca, for a total of 35 in the world at the most. So, the contents ..

Common Items
  • Cabbage
  • Carrot
  • Cheese Wheel
  • Cheese Wedge
  • Turnip
  • Ear Of Corn
  • Grapes
  • Ham
  • Eggs
  • Bananas

Special Items
  • Easter Basket
  • Stuffed Easter Bunny
  • Decorative Easter Basket

The Easter Basket is the same as the ones dropping on event mobiles. The Stuffed Easter Bunny will appear elsewhere in our events, but the ones stolen from town containers will bear a name which reflects the location they were stolen from. So, if you stole one from the town of Yew, it may have the name "A Stuffed Easter Bunny Stolen from Yew". Of course, some will have much more specific, thus interesting location names than this. These Easter bunnies will give treats when double clicked, once in a 24 hour period. The third special item is simply a decorative Easter basket which will be unique to the steal-able stuff.

Easter Community Collection

New addition this year!

Peter Cottontails are spawning randomly across the shard, on all facets.  Peter Cottontail will drop his tails when you kill him.  Use these tails to trade in for special Easter items.  Peter Cottontails vault for trading can be found in Luna!

We have added new items to Peter Cottontails Vault, the vault can be found in Luna Bank to see the rewards available.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Butcher is back!
 "The Butcher" will spawn with various names from Ultima Online mythos, and "The Butcher" title, they can be found in most graveyards.
Carvable Pumpkins
These tall pumpkins can be found on the corpses of "Killer Pumpkins" which can spawn when Halloween pumpkins are picked from pumpkin patches. These pumpkins can be carved using a "Jack-O-Lantern Carving Kit", which can be found on the corpses of "The Butcher", which will be stalking Trammel and Felucca cemeteries. When carved, they will become one of 9 carved pumpkins, each with a different design carved into them, and a "Carved By {playername}" property which will be seen on mouseover. The Jack-O-Lanterns are animated and can be turned off by double clicking it while in your pack. These are the pumpkins, including an un-carved tall pumpkin and the carving kits on the right:
A new type of pumpkin was added this year, the green gord pumpkin, this can be carved into 2 different types of lanterns, the skull and the witch, these drop on the killer pumpkins.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Player Zombie Skeletons

First, Zombie Players. Each time a player dies, their zombie will appear in a random cemetery. The zombie will be named to indicate whos zombie it is: "Billy's Zombie Skeleton". Upon killing the player zombie, a bones container bearing the name of the person who died, will drop on its corpse, which you can take and use as a decorative container.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pumpkin Patches
Farmer's fields in various locations will become pumpkin patches. Each pumpkin has a small chance of spawning as a Halloween pumpkin. Upon picking it up, either a Killer Pumpkin will spawn, or the Halloween Pumpkin will get a random players name affixed (as long as the player is online and alive), and become a decorative, light source Jack-O-Lantern. The jack-o-lantern can be turned on and off by clicking it. If the Killer Pumpkin is spawned, it has a chance of dropping one of various named masks. Each mask comes in both south and east facing versions, with the name of a random, online and alive player affixed as a "hand painted by" property, and the jack-o-lanterns come in 2 versions.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Trick or Treat!

Also, there is the trick or treat. In order to trick or treat, you simple say "trick or treat" and target NPCs and/or vendors. If the NPC so chooses, he will give one of various treats. However, if he does not, he will play one of the following tricks on the player who asked for a trick or treat:

  • Summon your naughty twin who may:

    Send you to a random moongate
    ... or ...
    Steal your candy

  • Change your color

    Full body hue mod
    Wears off shortly

  • Cause you to bleed

    Harmless bleeding effect, no damage
    Wears off shortly

On the other hand, if the vendor is willing and feels giving, the trick or treater may receive one of the following treats:

  • Lollipops
  • Wrapped Candy
  • Jelly Beans
  • Taffy
  • Nougat Swirl

And, if the NPC is willing and feeling giving, and the trick or treater has 100 in the skill of begging, they may receive one of the following items:

  • Murky Milk

    Beverage, Decorative

  • Creepy Cake

    Edible, Decorative

  • Pumpkin Pizza

    Edible, Decorative

  • Harvest Wine

    Beverage, Decorative

  • MrPlains Cookies

    Edible, Decorative

  • Halloween Guillotine

    Decorative, Miniature

  • Grim Warning

    Decorative

  • Colored Small Webs

    Decorative

  • Skulls On Pike

    Decorative

  • Chair In A Ghost Costume

    Decorative, Miniature

  • Excellent Iron Maiden

    Decorative, Miniature

Additionally, 3 missing treats from 2008 (Candy Corn, Pixie Sticks, and Giant Pumpkin Muffins), have been added to the "everyone" trick or treat items, and the Twilight Lanterns are available on the Killer Pumpkins' corpses. The lanterns are hued and have the spell channeling property. We will be adding more pumpkin patch areas in-game to accommodate what might become an increased demand.

Also introduced on OSI as part of 2013 Halloween, "Head On A Spike". Each version will have the name of mythical characters, using the same names as The Butcher, and these will be available as GM Beggars' Trick-or-Treat items:

We have also added the OSI GM Beggar treats tray of candied apples, tray of pumpkin spice cider, giant pumpkin and gypsy wagon lamp.  You can double click the trays and receive either a candy apple of mug of cider every 2 hours.

We have added to the halloween trick or treat system. Now beggars with 100 skill can trick or treat animals and monsters. Players trick or treating with begging skill at 100, can trick or treat monsters as well. If successful, the monster will give you a statue of itself. Almost all creatures can give a statue of itself to the trick or treater.

The higher the creature's fame is, the better your chance of getting a statue from it, for obvious reasons. If you unsuccessfully trick or treat the creature, it will become angered and immediately attack you. So here are some specifics.

- You cannot trick or treat in any house, or on a creature in a house.
- GM beggars only.
- can not be used on any summoned or controlled creature
- each creature can only give one statue, then must be killed to get more
- You can not trick or treat a creature while you are hidden or under a transformation of any type
- You must be within 3 tiles of the creature
- Nothing with human or elf bodies can be trick or treated, including vendors.
- the chance of success is 1% at the lowest, 10% at the highest. This chance is based on the fame of the creature.

These statues are NOT monster statuettes, and do not play any sounds. For the vast majority of creatures, at least, the art is not even the same. Some creatures have a chance of giving you a less common form of their statue. An example of that is in this picture:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Grave Digging
During the Halloween Holiday period on Wakened Online, players are now able to use mining tools to dig and plunder fresh graves. The available items are as follows.
1. Tub full of blood - base chance .001
2. Bloody Skull - base chance .005
3. Cannibal treats - base chance .05
4. Bloody Cloth - base chance 0.10
5. Bloody Bandages or Gravestone Carving Tool - base chance 0.15
6. Fertile dirt - base chance 0.50
When a dig attempt is made, a random number from 0.00 to 1.00 is rolled, and is checked on each item to see if the player is eligible to get one. This means, the total chance of getting anything at all is only as high as the chances of getting the most likely item: 50%. First it checks the tub, and if the roll wasnt high enough for that, it checks checks the next item, the skull, and so on.
The mining skill of the player is used to modify the chances of getting an item using the following formula: base chance * ( mining skill / 100 ) So if the players skill is 100, the chances will be unchanged. But, if the mining skill is lower, the chances of getting the items will be reduced. On the other hand, items with skill bonuses do count toward the roll, thus 100 skill can be exceeded, improving the odds. This also effectively rules out the top two items for anyone who does not have 100 skill in mining.
Further more, each dig attempt also has a 1% chance of pulling up some monsters: 4 ghostly apparitions, and a grim reaper. The grim reaper drops one of several addon deeds on his corpse.
1. Skeleton in a coffin
2. Wrapped body in a coffin
3. Wrapped body
4. skeleton.
Skill has no effect on the chances of getting the monsters. The cannibal treats are quite yummy: bloody hand and cheese sandwiches, and pulled long pig pork.
This year we have added gravestone carving and engraving!  You can dig up the gravestone carving tool via the grave digging system. Use the tool on granite to carve the gravestone, it will retain the hue of the granite you use. You must have learned masonry in order to use this tool.  If you die with a gravestone in your backpack it will be engraved automatically with one of various different epitaph's. If you have multiple gravestones in your backpack only one will be engraved.
There are 30 normal gravestone types, 4 rare types with east and south version of each, and 1 super rare.
Easter 2016
Posted By Athena - Sunday 27 March 2016 - 14:12:44 printer friendly
We are introducing content for Easter using art that only exists in the latest client version. It is highly recommended that everyone updates to the latest version: 7.0.49.2. Not doing so will result in your inability to see, participate in, or acquire any of the holiday content. Another notice! It seems that UOSteam may break the client displaying the latest client art. We are looking into finding a way to make UOSteam display the items or display an alternative item, but theres no promises there. This is a problem with steam, not the server or the client.
Easter Champion Spawn
We have created a custom champion spawn for easter, and can be found in the Monster bash area in our Festival Grounds. This spawn has the following "replica" drops:
  • Special Dragon Easter Egg, Unique
  • The Robe Of Britannia Ari, shared
  • A Necromancer Shroud, shared
  • Lieutenant Of The Britannian Royal Guard, shared
  • The Most Knowledge Person, shared
  • Easter Bunny Statuette, deco
Special Dragon Easter Eggs
These collectible special dragon eggs come in 16 special hues, and when double clicked during the Easter holiday events will total refresh all 3 stats! This will only work if the egg is in your pack, and once every 3 hours.
Dragon Easter Eggs
Dragon easter eggs will be spawning throughout the world. When double clicked, they have a 25% chance of turning into a dragon easter egg that can be taken, otherwise they will spawn Easter Peeps and an Easter Peep Lord. The Easter Peep Lord has a chance of Dropping a pig on a spit house addon deed, an empty barbeque addon deed, decorative vines, and some of the items from the peeps. The small peeps have chances of dropping items as described later in this page from previous Easters. The Peep Lords have a few tricks that are worth mentioning: They have random a template from necro, mage, archer, or berserker mellee. Their elemental damage is randomly chosen when they spawn, their weapon ability is chosen randomly at spawn time from the entire list of special moves, stats are random from 200 to 1000, and their target acquisition AI mode is selected randomly from the three aggressive modes.
Pink Easter Squirrels and Potted Plants
Pink squirrels are randomly spawning throughout the world, they are not aggressive, they are not tamable, they drop nothing when you kill them, but you can get them to give you items. The item will be one of a set of new potted plants as per the OSI Easter content of 2015. These collectible potted plants come in two types and 16 common hues, 2 rare hues.
Decorative Easter Eggs
These collectible eggs come in each Easter Basket that gets filled in Trammel facets (as explained below ) between Easter day through the following week. There are hundreds of hues and 3 different shapes, which comes to practically endless possible unique combinations. These eggs are purely decorative and serve no other purpose.
Easter Baskets
During the Easter event, the Easter baskets will fill themselves with goodies when opened. The first time those baskets are opened during the Easter events, they will be filled with Easter goodies (or baddies). When opened on Trammel maps, they will fill themselves with a mix of the following items:
  • Easter Eggs
  • Chocolate Easter Egg
  • Stuffed Easter Bunny
  • Jelly Beans
  • Candy Coated Chocolate Rabbit
  • Chocolate Llama
  • Easter Carrot
  • Decorative Easter Egg
  • Easter Basket Grass
Opening the basket in Felucca will give a mix of the following items:
  • Spam
  • Skinned Rabbit
  • Rotten Turnips
  • Chocolate Jelly Beans
  • Moon Shine
  • Chocolate Hand
  • Pigs Head
  • Pigs Feet
Town Chest Stealables
  • Cheese Wedge
  • Turnip
  • Ear Of Corn
  • Grapes
  • Ham
  • Eggs
  • Bananas
Special Items
  • Easter Basket
  • Stuffed Easter Bunny
  • Decorative Easter Basket
The Easter Basket is the same as the ones dropping on event mobiles. The Stuffed Easter Bunny will appear elsewhere in our events, but the ones stolen from town containers will bear a name which reflects the location they were stolen from. So, if you stole one from the town of Yew, it may have the name "A Stuffed Easter Bunny Stolen from Yew". Of course, some will have much more specific, thus interesting location names than this. These Easter bunnies will give treats when double clicked, once in a 24 hour period. The third special item is simply a decorative Easter basket which will be unique to the steal-able stuff.
Easter Community Collection
New addition this year!
Peter Cottontails are spawning randomly across the shard, on all facets.  Peter Cottontail will drop his tails when you kill him.  Use these tails to trade in for special Easter items.  Peter Cottontails vault for trading can be found in Luna!
Check back after updates for new items that may be added to the new Peter Cottontail Easter Collection.
On the other hand, if the vendor is willing and feels giving, the trick or treater may receive one of the following treats:
And, if the NPC is willing and feeling giving, and the trick or treater has 100 in the skill of begging, they may receive one of the following items:
Additionally, 3 missing treats from 2008 (Candy Corn, Pixie Sticks, and Giant Pumpkin Muffins), have been added to the "everyone" trick or treat items, and the Twilight Lanterns are available on the Killer Pumpkins' corpses. The lanterns are hued and have the spell channeling property. We will be adding more pumpkin patch areas in-game to accommodate what might become an increased demand.
Also introduced on OSI as part of 2013 Halloween, "Head On A Spike". Each version will have the name of mythical characters, using the same names as The Butcher, and these will be available as GM Beggars' Trick-or-Treat items:
We have added to the halloween trick or treat system. Now beggars with 100 skill can trick or treat animals and monsters. Players trick or treating with begging skill at 100, can trick or treat monsters as well. If successful, the monster will give you a statue of itself.
Almost all creatures can give a statue of itself to the trick or treater. The higher the creature's fame is, the better your chance of getting a statue from it, for obvious reasons. If you unsuccessfully trick or treat the creature, it will become angered and immediately attack you. So here are some specifics.
- You cannot trick or treat in any house, or on a creature in a house.
- GM beggars only.
- can not be used on any summoned or controlled creature
- each creature can only give one statue, then must be killed to get more
- You can not trick or treat a creature while you are hidden or under a transformation of any type
- You must be within 3 tiles of the creature
- Nothing with human or elf bodies can be trick or treated, including vendors.
- the chance of success is 1% at the lowest, 10% at the highest. This chance is based on the fame of the creature.
These statues are NOT monster statuettes, and do not play any sounds. For the vast majority of creatures, at least, the art is not even the same.
Some creatures have a chance of giving you a less common form of their statue. An example of that is in this picture:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Grave Digging

During the Halloween Holiday period on Wakened Online, players are now able to use mining tools to dig and plunder fresh graves. The available items are as follows.

1. Tub full of blood - base chance .001
2. Bloody Skull - base chance .005
3. Cannibal treats - base chance .05
4. Bloody Cloth - base chance 0.10
5. Bloody Bandages base chance 0.15
6. Fertile dirt - base chance 0.50

When a dig attempt is made, a random number from 0.00 to 1.00 is rolled, and is checked on each item to see if the player is eligible to get one. This means, the total chance of getting anything at all is only as high as the chances of getting the most likely item: 50%. First it checks the tub, and if the roll wasnt high enough for that, it checks checks the next item, the skull, and so on.

The mining skill of the player is used to modify the chances of getting an item using the following formula:

base chance * ( mining skill / 100 )

So if the players skill is 100, the chances will be unchanged. But, if the mining skill is lower, the chances of getting the items will be reduced. On the other hand, items with skill bonuses do count toward the roll, thus 100 skill can be exceeded, improving the odds. This also effectively rules out the top two items for anyone who does not have 100 skill in mining.

Further more, each dig attempt also has a 1% chance of pulling up some monsters: 4 ghostly apparitions, and a grim reaper. The grim reaper drops one of several addon deeds on his corpse.

1. Skeleton in a coffin
2. Wrapped body in a coffin
3. Wrapped body
4. skeleton.

Skill has no effect on the chances of getting the monsters.

The cannibal treats are quite yummy: bloody hand and cheese sandwiches, and pulled long pig pork.

Update Oct 2 2015: Stygian Abyss
Posted By Xavier - Sunday 04 October 2015 - 07:40:15 printer friendly

Stygian Abyss is here!

After a lot of work, fixing, and refixing, with the help of great community members that contributed some last minute fast-paced testing and retesting, we are happy to announce that Stygian Abyss is now live on Wakened Online. Things have gone relatively well since the publish, and as can be expected there are a few things to tweak and change still.

To honor the wishes of community as well as those of developers, we have left out imbuing. Spells and abilities that rely on imbuing have been changed to use other skills, and some tweaks for one or two of the quests that need imbuing ingredients are on the way. Feel free to join on IRC, or the forums to discuss concerns or questions regarding SA content. If you feel we have a bug, it would be most helpful posted in our bugtracker, which is available in the navigation bar "Bugs!" link.

We have enabled the winter spawn event for one additional run before the holiday season is over. Each level of the spawn has deco "drops" you can get for killing the spawn. Also, the Ice Beasts in level 3 have a small chance to drop rare white lanterns on their corpses, and the Santas on level 4 have a small chance of dropping 1 charge darkside dyes.

This spawn could take a week or two to finish, and everyone who contributed to defeating the spawn will be rewarded in the end, even if the boss is killed in their absense. The participation rewards are limited to one per account.

Winter Spawn Event.
Posted By Xavier - Saturday 27 December 2014 - 22:05:23 printer friendly

COMPLETED

Everyone who participates in the winter event spawn and puts in a share of the kills, will receive special rewards from that spawn - whether you make it to the boss or not. Like all the levels, the boss will have his own reward for those who kill him, as well.

The next level is Santas and those Santas drop dyes

Additional info:

Each level of this spawn has different drops, mainly deco. The final boss also drops a new deco item, but when he dies, everyone gets rewarded with very special, one time items. When this holiday is over, they will never be obtainable again.

The level it is currently on has Evil Santas, which have a 5% chance of giving the killers a darkside dye. This level should continue on through the weekend, to Monday or possibly longer.

Then the boss will spawn. When he dies, players have a chance of getting a nutcracker deed.

However .. every player that contributed to killing the spawn, anywhere during the event will be well rewarded. That's right, you can miss the boss and still get the best reward items of this event as long as you contributed kills along the way.

The participation rewards everyone will get will be either a Festive Cloak, or a Reindeer hide quiver, and all will get a third item, which we will let you find out for yourselves.

To get to the spawn just enter the event gate inside Luna bank, and take the next gate to the spawn area.

The holiday gift packages, and Christmas area will be active until the middle of January.

Thanks Wormius and Aurora for the great work on the Christmas area, and Athena, Aurora, Shyster, and Wormius on the recent Halloween event area.

Carvable Pumpkins

These tall pumpkins can be found on the corpses of "Killer Pumpkins" which can spawn when Halloween pumpkins are picked from pumpkin patches. Part 1 - October 4th, 2014

Farmer's fields in various locations will become pumpkin patches. Each pumpkin has a small chance of spawning as a Halloween pumpkin. Crafting Event - Sunday September 28th, 2014
Posted By Athena - Saturday 20 September 2014 - 17:31:27 printer friendly

We'll be holding a crafting event on Sunday September 28th, 2014 at 4pm Eastern.

This event consists of several different rooms with different mobiles in, they are special mobiles based on ore elementals, tree fellows, gaint serpents, dragons and drakes. These will give a chance of dropping cursed runics onto their corpse, but with lower charges than the regular ones.

There are also mobiles that you can obtain resources from, like sheep, cows, dragon, drake, lizardmen.

All runics are cursed and need to be used while inside the arena. You will not be able to leave the arena without dieing (same for your pet), so please make sure you have enough gold in your bank box to insure items you wish to keep.

You are free to take your own resources into the arena on a pack animal, but you will lose anything you have left over when you want to leave!

To enter the arena you will be required to have a certain set of crafting skills.

One from each of these:

There are over 1400 hues and 3 different shapes, which comes to roughly 5000 possible unique combinations. These eggs are purely decorative and serve no other purpose.

Easter Baskets

During the days from Easter through May, the Easter baskets will fill themselves with goodies when opened.

When opened on Trammel maps, they will fill themselves with a mix of the following items:

  • Easter Eggs
  • Chocolate Easter Egg
  • Stuffed Easter Bunny
  • Jelly Beans
  • Candy Coated Chocolate Rabbit
  • Chocolate Llama
  • Easter Carrot
  • Decorative Easter Egg
  • Easter Basket Grass

Opening the basket in Felucca will give a mix of the following items:

  • Spam
  • Skinned Rabbit
  • Rotten Turnips
  • Chocolate Jelly Beans
  • Moon Shine
  • Chocolate Hand
  • Pigs Head
  • Pigs Feet

Addition 4/14/14

Some people have asked for more info about the spawns for these chests, so we decided to make more of it public. First, there are ~200 locations they can spawn. The spawns are in Trammel and Felucca, and pretty much confined to town areas in buildings. The chests will delete themselves 5 minutes after the traps are cleared, and the re-spawn check is in 30 min intervals.

We also made an increase to the number of chests spawning to 15 in Trammel and 20 in Felucca.

We were going to leave this next part to be a surprise, but, we decided that would be a bad idea, due to the fact that there will be no logon gifts this season and some will miss out for a lack of information. The first time those baskets are opened between Easter day and through all of May, they will be filled with Easter goodies (or baddies). More information about the baskets will be posted later.

Original

As most of you are aware, we currently have "roaming" holiday spawns which are not bound to a specific location. These areas will be increased in size and relocated to some extent. We are/will be holding in-game events, and a bag art contest which is underway, and a winner will be picked on Easter Day. See the events section of the forums for more information.

Additionally, we have added a holiday stealing system, as part 2 of our holiday publishes.

The spawner engine checks every 30 minutes for deleted containers to replace, and there will be no more than 15 in Trammel and 20 in Felucca, for a total of 35 in the world at the most.

So, the contents ..

Common Items

  • Cabbage
  • Carrot
  • Cheese Wheel
  • Cheese Wedge
  • Turnip
  • Ear Of Corn
  • Grapes
  • Ham
  • Eggs
  • Bananas

Special Items

  • Easter Basket
  • Stuffed Easter Bunny
  • Decorative Easter Basket

The Easter Basket is the same as the ones dropping on event mobiles. Note, we are trying to get plenty of them out there
